Mrs. Ardelle Juanita Kilgore, 83, of Stringer died Saturday July 7, 2010, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel. She was a homemaker and a very active member of Good Hope Baptist Church in Stringer. She is preceded in death by her husband, Atha F. Kilgore, and a son, Eugene Kilgore. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Memory Chapel with burial to follow in Good Hope Cemetery in Stringer. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Memory Chapel. Rev. Terry Lee and Rev. Corby Jones will be officiating.



She is survived by three sons: Billy D. Kilgore of Stringer; Doug R. Kilgore and wife, Carol, of the Hebron Community; and John E. Knotts and wife, Doris, of Stringer; one daughter, Frances Massengale and husband, Kenneth, of Rocky Mountain, North Carolina; one sister, Jewel Leggett of Laurel; seven grandchildren: Stacie Mulholland, Stan Wheeler, Steve Wheeler, Stephanie Perry, Shannon Kilgore, Bethany Thornton and Kit Kilgore; six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.



Pallbearers will be Neil Moss, Ricky Moss, Rex Long, Kit Kilgore, Shannon Kilgore and Thomas Moss. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Thornton, Joseph Collins and Richard Perry. Memory Chapel is in charge of services To sign the guest register visit www.memorychapellaurel.com
