The Seventh Annual Law Enforcement Dinner was held Thursday, February 18 at Southern Industrial Contractors, Inc., who sponsored the event. The annual event, honoring local and state law enforcement officers, featured officers from Jasper County and abroad. Bay Springs Alderman and Jasper County Director of Emergency Management Mike Lucas served as the master of ceremonies. Mayor Pro-tem Jimmy Nix welcomed all officers to Bay Springs, followed by a honor call by Captain Billy Mayes.
