On December 27, David Woods was arrested during the raid, conducted by the Jasper County S.W.A.T. team. On Friday, January 8, Woods was cleared of any wrongdoing after some investigation, but another suspect was charged.
David W. Knotts, 26, of 705 CR 19 in Stringer, has been charged with manufacturing methamphetamines and will face Judge Robert Evans later this year, in August. Knotts will be charged, along with Ronnie Williams, Ronnie Williams, Jr., Joey L. Williams and Regina Michelle Green.
The alleged meth lab was located at the home of Ronnie and Joey Williams, located at 677 CR 19 in Stringer. Authorities reported that several small children were also found in the home.
