The Jasper County Sheriff’s Department made four arrests Sunday night, December 27 in connection with a methamphetamine lab in Williamstown.
Authorities report that, after receiving a tip, the Jasper County S.W.A.T. Team entered searched the home, located at 677 CR 19 in Stringer. There they found the four suspects in the home while methamphetamines were allegedly being cooked in the home. It was also reported that several small children were found in the home. Authorities said that this could have been a dangerous situation because meth labs are known to blow up and critically injure or kill those located in the home at the time of the explosion.
Those arrested include Ronnie Williams, 55, and Joey L. Williams, 28, who both live in the home; Ronnie Williams, Jr., 19, of Laurel; and Regina Michelle Green, 24, of Louin.
The four appeared before Justice Court Judge Marvin Jones on Monday, December 28 for their initial appearance. Bond for all suspects, except Joey L. Williams, was set at $50,000. Because this is Joey William’s second arrest this year for manufacturing methamphetamines at the same location of this arrest, his bond has been revoked.
The four will appear back in court next year when they face Judge Robert Evans in August.
