Ann Jeanette Harris Sims, 64, of Stringer died Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at Jasper General Nursing Home in Bay Springs.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 21 at Memory Chapel with burial in Union Line Cemetery. Rev. David Williams will officiate.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Bay Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents, M. D. Perry and Onnie Mae Ainsworth Perry; first husband, Frank Harris; daughter, Joyce Ann Harris; brother, Paul Perry; and sister, Betty Sue Harris.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Sims of Stringer; one son, Billy Harris of El Dorado, Arkansas; two daughters, Betty Manning of Ellisville and Debbie Varner of Stringer; 19 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; one brother, L. C. Perry of the Myrick Community; and three sisters: Jane Russell of Stringer, Barbara Clark of Ellisville and Debbie Vaughn of Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Devan Phillips, Lee Husband, Jamie Harris, Timothy Harris, Andy Fredrick and C. J. Beech.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 20 at Memory Chapel of Laurel, which is in charge of the arrangements.
