The Kiln Restaurant hosted The Jones County Young Professionals (JCYP) first social event of the new year last Thursday. The social was sponsored by Community Bank and The South Group. JCYP is a group of young professionals in Jones County between the age of 21 and 40. The monthly socials provide an opportunity for members to socialize and network with like-minded young professionals and help new professionals in that demographic make contacts in the community.

JCYP meets for a social event on the third Thursday evening of each month from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. The next scheduled social will be at Cafe Le Fleur on February 19. The Laurel Inn will host the social on March 26, and a Crawfish Boil is scheduled for the April 18 social at the Windermere Clubhouse.
